Planning
Sketch #1
Since I really didnt have and idea of what exactly I wanted to create, my sketches where all different to one another. For most part I wanted to incorporate my main theme which was portrait, so I wanted to include either a woman or a male. In this painting I wanted to focuse more in my theme which is portrait. So now i was focusing more on the fact that the woman was going to be the main focuse point and nothing else.

Sketch #2
In my second sketch I decided it to be more of a quick sketch since I wasn't going to put so much detail to the background. In my first sketch I decided to make the girl standing and in the second sketch i wanted her to be sitting I did not like the effect too much so i decided to stick with some of the inspiration of the first one.

Process
Before I started to paint my painting I had to add Gesso so when the acrylic paint would not crack over time. Then I decided to re sketch my painting so I can get ready for painting. When re-sketching my painting I tend to ude color pencil becasue I have gotten confortable when it came re-sketching my paintings to use color pencil. After fixing a couple of details I decided to start painting, so I got my acrylics and decided to start mixing my paints ahead of time. I use a syrum to slow down the drying process with acrylics almost like using oil paintings but quite not the same. After pre mixing my paints I decided paint my paintings.

Experimentation
I wanted to be able to experiment with my theme and be able to extend it. I was able to have a theme that for sure would fit to all my paintings. When it came to technical abilities in this painting I did not experiment that much becasue it was one of those paintings that I wanted to feel confortable while painting.

Reflection
Some of the things that I noticed about doing the painting is that her forhead was too big and I would need to go in and fix it becasue its way to big. Also another thing that I noticed was that with the syrum it would removed the pigmant of the actual paint which was abit tricky to use since I always use water to thin out the acrylicit made one of the areas of the image to show up lighter

Critic/ Compare and contrast
Critic:
Overall I was pleased with how my piece came out a couple of things that I would change would be to be able to try and be able to figure out the right amount of syrum for the acrylic.
Compare and Contrast:
One of the main things that it is noticeable with my inspirations and my was that we both accentuates features.
